St Theresa Benedicta of the Cross

St Theresa Benedicta of the Cross Edith Stein was a Jewish academic philosopher. She became a Catholic and a Carmelite nun but under the Nazi persecution of the Jews she – and her sister Rosa – were taken from Carmel and were both murdered in Auschwitz.
