DESCRIPTION:(1045 –1093) An English princess born in Hungary\, she became Scotland’s Queen when she married Malcolm III. Margaret was a pious Christian\, charitable to the poorest in her kingdom\, and set about reforming the church. Mother of three kings of Scotland she died at Edinburgh Castle\, days after her husband’s death in battle. (Which is recorded in Shakespeare’s Macbeth!)
