• Annual Collection for the St Nicholas Fund

    This weekend we have our annual collection for the St Nicholas Fund – the pastoral care trust of the archdiocese. This allows us to make grants to small projects and groups all over the city. Even in these hard times give what you can! Did you get your box and pack?

  • 3rd Sunday of Advent – Gaudete Sunday

    This weekend – Sunday is called “Gaudete Sunday” – rejoicing Sunday. The church changes into the delightful colour of rose pink! We have past the half-way mark of Advent and Christmas is very close! We rejoice His birthday is near!

  • Warm welcome

    In the hall – 10.30 – 2.30pm (Note change of time) Teas & Coffees, home baking hot lunch – chat & a laugh! All free - warm your heart!

  • Celebrating Sunday Advent 4 Year A.

    God is with us. The simple powerful message this week. Through Mary – the patron of our parish, God is no longer an aloof wordless mystery. God is Jesus born among us. You and your flesh and life are sacred because he became one with us – Emmanuel.

  • Penitential service

    As we get closer to Christmas, we all need a little time to create a safe spiritual place to reflect on what it is all really about. You are invited to our penitential service and moment of prayer at 7pm in the church. Bring your friends.  

  • Christmas Eve; The Celebration of Christmas

    6pm Vigil Mass especially for small children (This Mass is VERY busy. Please do not come unless you have small children – go to one of the adult celebrations) 9pm The Solemn “Midnight” Mass of Christmas

  • Christmas Day; The Solemnity of the Nativity

    We have an early simple celebration at 9am the  “Dawn” Mass Or why not join us for the 11am ‘family’ Mass – come as your wee gang who are meeting up for Christmas dinner? Please note; no evening mass.

  • St Stephens Day

    Boxing Day Mass is at 11am – enjoy the long lie!

    Christmas is such a special time for us all – those we love – those we miss – those about whom we worry. Come together as a family – there is a blessing for you all and a cuppa afterwards in the hall!
