"Sunday of the Word of God". Jesus is the one who will fulfil the prophecy of Isaiah - it is he who brings light to the people who walk in darkness. This week is the Sunday, established by Pope Francis, when we heighten our gratitude for God's holy word.

After the community breakfast, why not join us at St Gregory's (130 Kelvindale Road) for tea, coffee, chat and some faith sharing?

Everyone welcome to gather for an hour together at Maryhill Ruchill Parish Church (15-17 Shakespeare Street).

Our Justice & Peace Group invites you to the third of our seminars on how Catholic Social Teaching informs current affairs. None is more current than this month's topic - peace. Join us at 7pm in the church hall for interactive learning - all welcome.

Very few have recorded being converted like Paul, with a blinding light and thrown from their horse. If only it were that simple! Like Cardinal Newman said, conversion is a lifetime's work and is never easy. God's grace in us is enough - keep going!

Everyone welcome to gather for an hour together 11.30-12.30 at Maryhill Ruchill Parish Church (1990 Maryhill Road).

Why not come and join the Warm Welcome specifically at 11.30 - then you can join in the shared chat and faith discussion - and wait for a plate of soup? Sounds like a plan!

Our week ends with a time of shared worship with all the Christian churches locally. Join us at 7pm - followed by teas, coffees and a cheese and wine reception in the hall.

One of our major philosophical and theological influencers in the history of the church. He is patron of St Thomas Aquinas Secondary School which serves a part of our parish community - happy feast day!

Our first Men's Breakfast of 2023. We meet at The Viking Lounge (1190 Maryhill Road) - hope to see you there - and if you've never been before you'll be doubly welcome.

Our St Vincent de Paul Society are hosting their regular Saturday afternoon tea dance - lunch, dancing, music and community! Please note, you will be issued with a ticket in advance for catering purposes.
