This week a third parable about fields! This time one that has covered over a rich treasure hoard! A canny merchant discovers this and goes and buys the field and inherits treasure. What is precious to us and what do we do to sake it?

WYD, begun by St John Paul, gathers the young people of the world every two years. We are delighted that Rose, Kerry, Conor, Finn and Anthony – our “Lisbon Lions” – are representing us. Have a blast!

Today Pope Francis will go to Lisbon to join the gathered youth people at World Youth Day. Best wishes to our Kerry, Rose, Finn Conor & Anthony - our 5 there to greet him!

St John Vianney The Cure D’Ars famous for his simplicity and deep devotion to the sacrament of reconciliation and the Eucharist. His whole life was spent among the folk of his village and he is understandably the patron saint of Parish Priests.
